TAILORED TRAINING

At the request of an organization, I provide customized training programs. Innovative and creative, playful and active. I (almost) always use psychodrama, voicedrama and Voice Dialogue techniques. I need to (thoroughly) know in advance what the immediate cause, the wish, the desire, is for wanting a training program. This is important, because the success of such a money and time-consuming endeavor rides on the adequacy of this information.

When organizing training programs, I often work together with Het Balkon, Berry Collewijn en Krijger Development.

Training
The duration of a training program can vary from 2 daily segments to 7 days.
The number of participants varies from 4 to ??. For larger groups comprised of 6 to 8 people, and depending on the question and the duration, a trainer from my network may also participate.

Participants
Anyone at the line manager or staff officer level. Whatever your position, you deal with other people on a constant basis, people you influence in one way or another and who you have to work together with.

Goals
The goals always center on effectiveness and enjoyment in the workspace. Easing up on leadership, delegation, efficient time management. Or increasing self-confidence, assertiveness, flexibility. Or dealing better with ever recurring dilemmas in your job and your life. For instance, being a content expert as opposed to a process manager, or dividing time between your job and your private life.

Results
By using psychodrama, voicedrama and Voice Dialogue techniques and exercises, the 'Transfer of Learning' problem is partially solved: as a participant, you acquire realistic, genuine insights and behavioral alternatives.

Heterogeneous or homogeneous goals?
You can choose between a training program for participants who share the same goals and a program for people who have different learning objectives.
Research has shown that training programs which involve heterogeneous goals (i.e. with people from the company who have different points of interest that need improving) score better than those with participants who have more or less similar goals.
On the other hand, it is often much easier for a company to organize a training program that centers on one specific theme.
