COACHING : PLAYFUL AND ACTIVE COACHING

The coaching variation that I use in this rapidly expanding world of coaching is Playful and Active. By using the psychodrama, voicedrama and Voice Dialogue methods, coaching sessions become inspiring, adventurous and active meetings. And that without trivializing the problem definition or losing the respect that the coaching client deserves, as he himself does not always fully understand which obstacles he is up against.

A coaching program consists of 3 to 10 sessions of 1 to 1½ hours. The goal is (of course) to change your behavior or, in other words, to change the way you deal with certain issues.

Sometimes, when this proves necessary, we examine how you look at your job and your life. We pay some attention to the backgrounds of your behavior: your convictions, motives, wishes, ideals. Or, in Voice Dialogue terms: which sub-personalities are playing an effective or ineffective role in your job/life?

Here are a few questions with which you can enter a coaching program:
  • recovering from a burn-out? Or are you (more or less unnoticed) heading towards one?
  • having trouble figuring out the next step in your career?
  • wondering how you could more effectively influence your work environment?
  • in need of more behavioral alternatives for dealing with that dominating colleague?
